Here at K and D horsebox hire we have fully London Emissions Zone (LEZ) compliant 3.5 tonne horseboxs available for self drive hire and transport in Essex. Our self drive horsebox is stalled to take up to two horses (depending on weight). A driver can be supplied for an extra fee - please contact us for a competitve quote.CCTV is fitted internally and externally, to add to your horses comfort and well being. Our horsebox has a fully collapsible breast bar and a 3 foot groom's door for extra safety.
Horses are stalled facing the rear for their comfort and balance, as studies have shown that rear facing horses are able to balance with more ease, causing them much less stress and fatigue.

This 3.5 tonne self drive horsebox can be driven on a standard car license, so there is no need for you take any additional driving tests!That includes drivers who passed their test after 1997!
Our horsebox is fully insured and breakdown cover is provided for your peace of mind. Remember we are fully LEZ compliant.
Our self drive horsebox is fully disinfected after every use by us at K and D horsebox hire. We are full Defra approved and authorised to transport your horse.
You can even park your car on our premises for the duration of your self drive hire with K and D horsebox hire. (Please note vehicles left on our premises our left at the owner's risk).
